Welcome to the Inkluder Blog!

Hello, it's a pleasure to welcome you to our new blog, launching in the midst of Trans Awareness Week – a time when we come together to celebrate and advocate for the trans community.

Inkluder is more than just an organisation; it’s a community effort dedicated to nurturing inclusivity and acceptance across Barnet. Our adventure began just over two years ago, and it's been an extraordinary journey filled with learning and growth.

Our recent celebration, Barnet Pride, was a standout success, marking a significant moment for our community’s journey towards greater diversity and unity. It's events like this that remind us of the strength found in our collective efforts. However, our work extends beyond these events.

We've collaborated with local schools to conduct workshops and discussions aimed at breaking down stereotypes and fostering a culture of acceptance. It's inspiring to see the positive impact these initiatives have on the young minds that will shape our future.

Our partnership with Barnet Council has been particularly rewarding, reflecting a mutual dedication to making our borough a place where everyone, no matter their gender identity or sexual orientation, feels valued. We’ve been working together to influence policies and initiatives that have a real impact on people's lives.

At Inkluder, we're advocates for change, and we've hosted various events – from storytelling sessions to social nights – that have brought joy and a sense of community to our work. These gatherings are about more than just fun; they're about coming together and building a sense of belonging.

We believe in the power of community and want to hear from you. Whether you have suggestions, ideas, or want to get involved, your input is invaluable. This blog is a platform for us all to share experiences, learn, and contribute to our shared mission.

As we reflect on the progress made during Trans Awareness Week, we also acknowledge the journey ahead. Together, we will continue to work towards a brighter, more inclusive future for Barnet.

Thank you for being part of our community. Your support is what makes this all possible. Let's move forward together, ensuring Barnet becomes the most inclusive place it can be.
